Beau & Laura – September 7, 2013

It has been some time since we have posted on our blog. We have missed writing it, but we have been busy, and our priority has been to get work back to our clients as quickly as we could, so the blog has taken a back seat. We still want to catch up – call it our winter’s resolution – so look forward to new blog posts in the next few weeks! For our first post of the year we went back to Beau and Laura’s wedding, and we are so happy we did as we immediately fell in love with their day all over again. Their carefully restored Round Barn, the talented musicians, the Yuills’ beautiful Percheron and wagon that carried Laura to her groom, the speeches that made you laugh and cry at the same time, Laura’s father playing an enchanting solo on his violin, (not a dry eye in the barn), the barley field seeded just for the wedding, (we had always wanted to photograph a couple in a grain field) and their attention to every detail, whether it was the food or flowers or decorations. All so memorable and touching. But perhaps our most cherished memory, was witnessing the closeness of family and friends, and the warmth and tenderness in every look and touch and gesture. It was beautiful and unforgettable: a Round Barn with love all around.
