Emma & Jaret – August 2, 2014

How do you find words perfect enough when you have to blog a wedding that was such a joy to photograph, but also that was held in the home and gardens of the home where I grew up. Truly an emotional day. My Latvian born parents created this little garden of Eden, and it is one of the most beautiful places on earth for me. My Mum passed away just 2 years ago and at a month shy of 92, she still lovingly and competently cared for her orchard, vegetable and flower gardens. It will not be an easy project for anyone to take over the property and continue to keep it to her standards, but if anyone can, it will be this beautiful couple, my niece Emma and  her groom, Jaret. They have what it takes and they arranged a most unforgettable day, where family and friends came together and celebrated a new beginning. For Emma and Jaret, it’s a new beginning that is filled with warmth, passion, love of music, love of pets, love of nature and love of each other. It really could not have been a more perfect day.
